Blog #6 Architectural Experience

Imagine you're in Iran, in a place called Shiraz. There's a famous and beautiful mosque there called the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque. I'll tell you about a special visit there.

As you approach the mosque, the first thing you notice is its colorful tiles on the outside. They make the entrance look like a work of art. The tiles are all different shades of blue and turquoise, and they create patterns that catch your eye.

When you step inside the mosque, you'll see a breathtaking dome. What's amazing about this dome is that it changes color throughout the day. In the morning, it looks soft pink, then turns creamy white in the daytime, and finally deep blue as the sun sets. This happens because of the special tiles they used to build it.

Inside the mosque, it feels calm and peaceful. The walls have intricate designs made of plaster, and the central area has a beautiful window with colored glass. When the sunlight comes through, it creates colorful patterns on the floor, making you feel like you're in a magical place.

What makes this visit even more special is that you're stepping into history. The mosque is really old, built many years ago, and it's a reminder of the incredible skills and artistry of the people who made it.

So, visiting the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque isn't just about seeing a building; it's like taking a trip back in time and being amazed by the beauty that people can create. It's a place that makes you appreciate the art of building and the wonder of architecture.
